Working in key leadership positions for global players such as AGCO Corp., Benteler Automotive, and ThyssenKrupp he acquired more than 25 years of international Procurement & Supply Chain expertise. He has been leading global teams all over Europe, the Americas, Asia. As a transformational leader Jan focused in the past 12 years on transforming brand focused & regional Procurement organizations into globally connected and collaborating high-performance teams supported by digital solutions enabling organizations to unleash their full power. One of his digitalization projects has been awarded the prestigious German BME Excellence in eSolutions award for its innovative Supply Chain Risk Management initiative which was also featured in the FORBES Magazine. Jan founded targetP! – agile procurement enabled, a boutique but hands-on Procurement advisory firm located in Berlin & Atlanta (US).

From 2011 to 2017 Jan served as Global Director of the Strategy & Methods group within Global Procurement& Materials at AGCO Corporation, a Top 3 Agricultural Machines manufacturer worldwide. In this role, Jan globally did oversee the global Procurement Strategy & Organizational effectiveness and the Supplier Development & Supplier Cost Analysis teams. Jan led the deployment of largescale Procurement transformation and efficiency initiatives such as organizational realignment & evolution, lean processes and IT systems. He drove cost improvement programs, Supply Chain Risk Management, compliance and legal initiatives.

Additionally, Jan was the founder and Dean of the AGCO School of Procurement to foster associate competency development. Prior to AGCO, Jan was Global Director Strategy & Methods at Benteler Automotive a global Top 25 Automotive supplier where he led various transformational, cost-down and efficiency programs and founded the Benteler Automotive Procurement Academy. He successfully led the Benteler & BMW sourcing team and launched the BMW X5 Chassis program in South Carolina.

Jan was also part of the leadership team that successfully ramped up the new JIS automotive chassis plant which was considered the most modern chassis assembly part globally in 2006.
