Regional Sourcing Manager
• Ensuring Sub-Saharan Africa category sourcing and contracts meet the business requirements through the execution of the strategic-sourcing process.
• Driving Local compliance to the relevant global policies, standards and platforms including the agreed Sourcing Management methodology and approach and to deliver robust terms and conditions that leads BAT’s service delivery and commercial risk.
• Being responsible for the process of sourcing execution to ensure delivery of our stakeholder requirements and targets.
• Owning commercial supply base management by building strong internal and external business relationships to ensure the delivery of the category goals.
• Facilitating the creation of supplier SLA’s and performance checkpoints where applicable.
• Leads the process of sourcing execution to ensure delivery of the stakeholder requirements and targets.
• Drives and facilitates “source to contract” for specific end market categories. This includes the resolution of any contracts related issues and includes one-off spend items.

Strategic Support
Within the assigned category of spend, have responsibility for understanding the category strategy and plans, working with the Sourcing Manager to deliver category analysis, sourcing bench-marking and general reviews of spend.

Administer all documentation relevant to category quality assurance and conformance.
Update and maintain the approved category supplier list for the Group.
Support internal and external audit processes and provide any necessary documentation.

Take ownership and accountability for tasks and activities and demonstrate effective self-management in terms of planning, prioritizing and self-development.
Follow through to ensure that quality and productivity standards of work are consistently and accurately maintained.
