 Successfully managed $50M global cost-out initiative.

 Led the selection and implementation of Coupa as the global procurement system for Source-to-Pay, Contracts, Expenses, Invoice Automation, Supplier Information Management and Risk Management including integration with 8 ERP’s.

Recruited to lead indirect procurement for this consumer electronics retail corporation, negotiating millions of dollars in agreements across all indirect categories. Managed annual procurement of over $1B in goods and services for five distribution centers, two service centers and over 6,000 retail stores.

 Responsible for all IT sourcing and procurement including desktop, infrastructure, POS, inventory, financials, CRM

 Supervised a team of 17 indirect procurement employees, two temporary staff members, and a team of consultants.

 Innovated and deployed policies, processes, and best practices to govern sourcing and contracting, including the selection and implementation of indirect procurement systems.

Oversaw $450M in annual spend to support the operations of this global mineral exploration company, with a presence in over 40 countries and six continents. Negotiated the key terms and conditions of agreements with Fortune 500 companies that included Oracle, Microsoft, Salesforce.com, Symantec, PTC, AT&T, Verizon, American Express, and UPS, as well as with hotels, car agencies, and professional service suppliers.

 Managed teams with representatives from Hardware, Software, Telecom, Professional Services, Consulting, Travel, Marketing, HR, Insurance, Legal, MRO, Consumables, Capital Equipment, Finance, Card Programs and Facilities.

 Partnered with internal customers and suppliers to facilitate commodity cost reduction sessions, lead the RFP/RFQ process, and assess proposals.

 Examined supplier cost structures to optimize supply agreements and secure significant reductions in cost.
