We are looking for inspection company or qualified auditor to audit at the suppliers facility in Shed Area G.I.D.C. Vapi, Gujarat- 396191

Type of audit: Mainly Technical (70%) + Social Compliance overview (about 30%).

This factory is producing chemicals: Phenolic Resins (to be used in Rubber Applications)

We need following areas to be covered under technical audit, for example few questions to give you idea. These are generic questions.

Overall Management:

• Are the functions, responsibilities, reporting lines transparent and well defined? Are key positions defined in an organization chart?

• Is the production planning made on the basis of the number of products requested, the number of employees and the available resources?

• Are there clear and systematic procedures for collecting, registering, handling and solving customer complaints?

Production:

• Verify the production machinery, number of machines.

• Process in-house.

• Daily production capacity,

Material Handling:

• Do you have your own lab for testing the incoming goods?

• Does your company have incoming material inspection and report?

• Does the factory store inventory in an appropriate environment and safe conditions?

• Factory and warehouse equipped with material handling equipment? (fork lift, pallet truck)

Quality Management:

• In-house lab testing equipment’s with quality control test in-house.

• Does the QC ensure all finished products meet clients Standards and how is this ensured?

• Do QC perform quality inspection at each operation (inline, mid-line,..)?

Health and Safety conditions:

• Has every employee from the factory signed a formal working contract?

• Are employees treated and paid fairly (market rates)?

• Monitor no child labor is employed or found in the factory.

• what is the legal minimum wage applicable in your country, region or district?

• What are the normal working hours and shift applicable in the factory?

• How many hours of overtime workers usually do every day? (during low and during high season).

• what is the legal minimum age in your state and Country?

SHE Mgt.:

• Storage of flammable and hazardous materials is assessed and precautions are documented and implemented

• Facilities are fitted with automatic fire detection (e.g. smoke, heat, solvent vapor, break glass) linked to a fire alarm system. The systems are regularly maintained and tested.

• All staff are trained in basic fire precautions and evacuation. Evacuation drills are practiced. There is a trained on site auxiliary fire team with nearby municipal fire brigade response.

OVERALL YOU WILL ALSO NEED TO TAKE SEVERAL FACTORY PICTURES COVERING ALL THE AREAS OF THE FACTORY.
