Projects Undertaken at SASS
1. National Treasury: Developed sourcing opportunities for the office of the chief procurement officer.
• Prepared the inception /case report with project objectives, purpose, strategic alignment and key risks and mitigation actions.
• Collected and analyzed three years of complete expenditure from different disparate financial management systems for the national and provincial government;( addressable spend of over $40billion)
• Identified annualized savings for commodities and prioritized the commodities for strategic sourcing opportunities
2. Developed marketing strategies for a leading Australian ICT company, that offers a full range of Corporate Performance Management (CPM) and Business Intelligence (BI) Solutions CAMMS Australia.
3. Developed Oil/Gas localization research study for the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC)
• Analyzed all the components/sub-systems that go into building a new oil/gas refinery and or capacity expansions.
• Conducted demand analysis for capital equipment and services for refinery upgrades and prepared a report on the skills availability in the petroleum industry and the critical skills shortages.
4. Developed Commodity and Sourcing Strategy for Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) Professional Services for an electricity utility company
• Supported Sourcing Strategy development for improving the operational efficiency of the organization, specifically in the SHEQ department. (Over $400 K combined addressable spend)
5. Developed a task order allocation criteria tool for Line Construction Panel and Stringing Projects for an electricity utility company
6. Developed Power Plant Turbines and Generator Spares Commodity and Sourcing Strategy for an electricity utility company
• Extracted and analyzed the spend data information on turbines and generators for 5 years from SAP (addressable spend of $9 million)
• Complete analysis on the inventory management, warehousing and linkage with maintenance of equipment.
