We have immediate openings for contract (1099) consulting professionals. Candidates must have consulting industry procurement experience in the Chemicals and or Energy Industries.

As part of Chemicals and Energy Practice, we are interested in experienced Chemical Procurement Consultants that specialize in raw materials, packaging, PVC, metal stabilizers and polypropylene.

These positions are high profile positions within a growing, highly regarded operations management implementation firm that has become a leader in sustainable global supply chain transformation. Specialties include Operations Excellence, Strategic Procurement, Logistics, Organizational improvement, Overall Equipment Effectiveness, Sales and Operations Planning.

As a Senior Consultant, Procurement, you will be responsible for applying your experience to collaborate with our Analysis Director/Engagement Team to deliver to our clients superior results, based upon scope of the assignment. You will be assigned to the Procurement category/work stream and collaborates with other company resources to identify and analyze issues/inefficiencies and develop a road map for improved procurement processes during the Analysis, and/or during the Engagement. You will engage with the client and your team to implement the appropriate solutions the result in quantifiable cost savings, improved sourcing capabilities and strategic procurement processes for assigned clients. A Senior Procurement Leader role will strategically and technically own and manage an engagement from start to finish specializing in the Procurement area. The individual will form the client relationship, inspiring and motivating the team to thrive, and successfully deliver the engagement deliverables within a predetermined budget.

5-10 years of project management experience and prior experience with consultative services and experience in the chemicals and/or energy industries. In addition, we require knowledge and experience in Supply Chain, Procurement or a related Vertical. Lean/Six Sigma, PMP or APICS certification a plus. Experience with leading complex procurement transformation engagements in a customer environment where change management was critical to success would be the ideal experience. Experience in architecting and implementing procurement solutions as a service provider also desirable. Experience with traditional Purchasing processes is strongly preferred, along with familiarity with Strategic Sourcing approaches and methodologies.

There will be heavy travel in this position to accommodate our client locations.

Candidate can live in any major city with proximity to a major airport.

Daily rate compensation to be negotiated.
